Another PR stunt at BRMB?

GCap Media's Birmingham radio station BRMB is well known for its history of PR stunts – and it looks like it might have pulled off another. Earlier this month we reported that breakfast co-presenter Elliott Webb had left the show – today he was back.

Elliott was reunited with co-host Caroline Martin on The Big Brum Breakfast – handily enough on Valentine's Day – less than a fortnight after it was announced Caroline would be doing the show on her own. At the time, Caroline spoke on air about an inaccurate local newspaper report that she was given a solo slot simply because she lives with BRMB Programme Controller Adam Bridge.

Bridge told BRMB website readers today: "I'm delighted that Caroline and Elliott are reunited once again and it seems the most logical decision to make. There is no doubt that the listeners adore them as individuals, but also love the rapport and chemistry that they have together. I am certainly looking forward to an even better show to wake Birmingham up every morning.

"As we all know nothing in life is forever, but the listeners love for both Caroline and Elliott as a team make them the right hosts for Birmingham's Breakfast Show right now."

PR stunt? You decide.
