Changes at BBC Cambridgeshire

BBC Radio Sheffield presenter Antonia Brickell is heading back to Cambridge to take-over the afternoon show. Starting in April, other changes include Peterborough based breakfast presenter Andy Burrows presenting a new 9am -10am programme for the whole county.

Antonia says: "The new programme is going to be as much about gossip and fun as well as the big stories of the day!”

Antonia has spent the past three years presenting BBC Radio Sheffield's breakfast show. She says, “I’m delighted to be returning to the county which I got to know during my school days. I love Cambridgeshire – there are lots of happy memories here. Professionally it’s such a busy place and I’m looking forward to being a girl about town again!"

BBC Radio Cambridgeshire's listeners requested more gardening features and Sue Dougan aims to please so she'll be donning her wellies for a new Sunday morning gardening show from 11am to 1pm. Helen West’s Country Show moves to 1-4pm to include more new country.

Weekdays changes after 6pm can be seen with a new sports programme on Mondays, a Northern Soul show on Tuesdays and Mandy Morton talks art and entertainment in Mandy Morton's Eclectic Light Show on Wednesdays.
