Capital shouts about Bambam

GCap Media is launching a new advertising campaign designed to let Londoners know that sacked Kiss 100 DJ Bam Bam plus sidekick Streetboy are now on-air every weekday evening on Capital 95.8. The bus adverts continue the Sound of London campaign, which uses recognisable London images.

Station bosses say that the activity has been devised as a real perception changer and it is hoped that this campaign will continue the drive to get potential listeners to reappraise Capital and think of it as being fresh and relevant.

Nick Button, Capital 95.8 Marketing Director comments:

'We want to let lapsed and non-Capital listeners know that Capital's output has evolved from when they last tried the station. We also want to engage them and get them to retry the station based on its music policy and the attitude of the presenters – and there is no better team than Bam Bam and Streetboy in demonstrating this. We share our listeners excitement about life in London, and we believe it's time that people had a radio station that reflected that outlook."
