Davidson back at Kerrang!

Radio Clyde Programme Director Gordon Davidson is to be the new PD at Kerrang! 105.2 in the West Midlands. Gordon was part of the original launch team at the Emap rock station 3 years ago. He's since been working as Group Programme Director for The Local Radio Company (TLRC).

Since Gordon joined Radio Clyde last year, the breakfast show has picked up a Sony award and the station has received a string of nominations in this year’s New York Festival. Kerrang! 105.2's latest Rajar figures, for Q1 2007, saw the station lose hours, reach and market share after a good end to 2006.

Steve King, Emap's Big City Programme Director told RadioToday.co.uk: "I am delighted Gordon is joining Kerrang! 105.2 as Programme Director. He will be working closely with Marguerite and the team and will be taking up the position shortly. The vacant position at Radio Clyde will be advertised internally and in the interim Paul Saunders (Deputy Programme Director at Clyde) will become Acting Programme Director."
