TLRC station Spire FM will be providing live commentary of Salisbury City's home and away games online next season. In addition, regular updates will be provided on FM whilst the matches are taking place. Life-long Whites fan Justin Edwards will be providing full live commentary on the newly promoted team.
Programme Controller Stuart McGinley told RadioToday.co.uk: "Last season when the Whites played Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup we had a real taste of the passion for this club, and we want to strengthen our commitment to the team and its fans by providing this service. It's an unprecedented move for a station of our size but with the determination and hard work of our staff, we have managed to provide a unique choice of local listening for our audience".
