Digital radio stations and services nominated for this years BT Digital Music Awards range from GCap Media's Xfm and Planet Rock to BBC 6 Music. Voting is now taking place online ready for the awards event on October 2nd, expected to be attended by over 1000 guests.
4Radio's Slash Music download joins Classic FM's Tony Robinson's Friendly Guide to Music podcast for a nomination in the Best Podast Award category, whilst BBC 6 Music, Fun Radio, Planet Rock, Radiowaves and Xfm have all been nominated for Best Radio Station.
The BT sponsored DMAs are the UK's only awards dedicated to digital music entertainment, and was last year hosted by BBC Radio 1's Edith Bowman on Channel 4. Previous hosts include Jo Whiley and Alex Zane.
