GWR Wiltshire's drivetime presenter Howard Taylor has bought himself a pub. As well as playing records each afternoon he'll also be pulling pints each night in the Steam Railway in Old Town. He will also DJ on Friday and Saturday nights and plans to re-decorate his new watering hole too!
In an article in the Swindon Advertiser, Howard said he is excited by his new venture: "There's a lot to be done but I'm excited by it all. I've been looking at this place for a while as it was something I wanted to get involved with after previously working in a few pubs," he explained.
"I remember coming to Swindon in 1990 and visiting the Steam Railway a few times. It was always heaving and a popular place to come and watch sport."
