More Fun at the weekend

Digital Fun radio is launching two new weekend shows. The Stompathon each Saturday morning will feature an hour of classic songs from the 60s and 70s and the new Family Fireside Concerts will broadcast each Sunday at 5pm for the whole family to enjoy.

The Stompathon songs include Curtis Mayfield ‘Move on Up’, Diana Ross ‘Baby Love’, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas ‘Dancing in the Street’ and Stevie Wonder ‘Signed Sealed Delivered’.

FUN radio's Family Fireside Concerts are designed for families to share and enjoy a fascinating selection of stories set to music. The works are drawn from archive and modern recordings to include traditional and new tales performed by recognised and celebrated actors and musicians. Each concert lasts approximately 30 minutes and is presented by musician and actor Peter Schofield.

Feedback from parents and carers has praised FUN radio’s musical range, as it provides such a colourful array of sounds for children to respond to and interact with.
