United Radio Plays in Jordan

United Radio Consultants are in the Middle East at the moment, providing ongoing strategic and sales support to Modern Media based in Amman, Jordan. The company is responsible for three radio licences in Jordan, including the successful English language hits station Play 99.6FM.

The agreement follows a visit last year by United Radio's Mark Briggs and Diarmid Moncrieff, who were engaged by The British Council to host a four day radio symposium. United Radio CEO Mark Briggs says he is looking forward to a long term relationship: "Modern Media is a progressive and dynamic radio business.
"I'm impressed with their existing music and entertainment brand Play 99.6 FM. The Jordanian radio market is becoming more competitive, but it is also growing. We can share ideas and explore new strategies, whilst providing practical training for their growing team."
Modern Media's Sales and Marketing Director Ramzi Halaby believes United Radio is in tune with their objectives. "I have been in discussion with Mark Briggs for over a year and his recent visit gave him a chance to spend some time with me and many of our team. We decided to forge a long term relationship and look forward to working with United Radio over the year."
United Radio Radio Partner Robert Johansson is also working with Modern Media to provide ongoing music strategy development and support. United Radio is the main site sponsor of RadioToday.co.uk.
