Kids takeover Bauer FM network

The kids are coming – and they're taking over Magic 105.4 and the Big City Network for a day on Friday 28th March in aid of charity.

A specially created campaign by Bauer Advertising and Carat Sponsorship will see kids from around the country selected to co-present radio shows and news programmes as part of a unique “For the Kids” day, designed to ramp-up awareness of Save The Children’s campaign to show just how simple it is to save a child’s life.
It will be supported by activity across Bauer’s magazine, radio, TV and web platforms.
All young people taking part will be between 12 and 16 years of age and two from each Big City Network radio station area will be chosen to take part in the day. Each pair will lead a news bulletin every hour and talk about the world from a kids’ perspective.
Two young people will also be chosen to host the Big City Network’s ‘In Demand’ show, hosting a special ‘Kids in Demand’ show from 7-8pm on Friday 28th March.
Karen Stacey, broadcast sales director at Bauer Advertising, said: “Save the Children has a vitally important message to convey to children, parents and families across the UK. Bauer has created this unique and bespoke cross media campaign which will deliver their message across multiple media touchpoints to inspire people to take action.”
