Moyles makes Wembley debut

Chris Moyles has made his Wembley debut this morning when he broadcasts his breakfast show from the stadium, in aid of Sport Relief.

The broadcast marked the last day of Chappers and his co-host Comedy Dave’s run for charity. Over the last week they have been calling into football stadiums across the UK to run a mile at every Premiership football ground.
Chris announced yesterday morning on the show that Dave and Chappers would now be running 33 miles which is a mile further than originally planned after use of the hallowed turf of Wembley Stadium was secured. Chris said there had been lots of technical problems behind the scenes, then went on to thank listeners by saying: "If you have donated then you have just made some one's life better or easier."
He also announced that he’d join in the bid to raise £100,000 by running around the pitches of the five London Clubs and Wembley Stadium. Special guest and fellow Radio 1 DJ Vernon Kay also joined in.
The total on the show yesterday morning was just over £75,000.Their final total will be announced on Sport relief tonight on BBC One.
