Xfm completes daytime line-up

It’s business as usual at Xfm London as former Key 103 and MTV presenter Jo Good is hired to host the afternoon show. Jo completes the new daytime line up of Alex Zane, Rick Shaw and Dave Berry and starts her new show on Tuesday.

Jo is glad to be joining the station and is hoping it will help her get laid: “I’m chuffed beyond belief to be part of the new line-up because I’m told that it will help me to get drunk and laid a lot. I’m also glad to be here because this is the radio station that has always played the music that I love in a way that feels real. It’s brilliant, it’s unique and everyone is dead fit. I can’t wait!”
Xfm London’s programme director Adam Uytman told RadioToday.co.uk: “I am really pleased that Jo has agreed to join our team. I think that she will prove to be very popular, providing something really different that will complement the rest of the line-up. It is also great for us to get a strong female voice into the mix. Roll on the 25th!”
Xfm introduced a non-stop “Xu” jukebox format during the 10am till 4pm daytime slot less than 12 months ago but has recently announced presenters will make their way back in to the schedule across all Xfm stations.
The sale of Xfm stations outside of London continues today according to reports, despite the on-going discussions between Global Radio and GCap Media.
