Exmouth’s community radio station Bay FM is due to broadcast during the Exmouth Festival, 24 hours a day. The RSL, on 107.9 FM will start on 19th May.
The station, bosses say, returns with a much enhanced programme schedule which will provide listeners with entertainment, information and hours of fun. Programmes will be live 24 hours a day.
Bay FM is supported by a wide range of local businesses and by the Exmouth Town Council which has included in their regeneration plan recognition of the value of the existence of Bay FM. The station has received letters of support of Mr. Ben Bradshaw, MP and government minister, Mr Hugo Swire MP and, last but by no means least, has had hundreds of emails and letters from people both in Exmouth and abroad including from places as far away as New Zealand.
