BBC Radio Manchester's latest signing John Thomson is introducing a radio academy social evening next week in Manchester, featuring a radio pub quiz with Simon Hirst.
Hirsty, from Galaxy Yorkshire will be back in town with another legendary radio quiz, where teams from radio stations across the region go head-to-head. The evening sees the re-birth of The Radio Academy's north west branch with a new season of social and networking events designed for radio people in all parts of the industry – commercial, BBC, national, local, indie, group and community.
The event, which will include the presentation of the North West Nations & Regions award to Silk FM, is taking place from 6pm onwards (7pm start) on Tuesday April 22nd at the Kaz Bar in Tiger Tiger, Printworks, Manchester. Registration is not required and is free.
