Severn jock gets on his bike

The Severn's weekend breakfast presenter John Tudor will be taking part in a local mountain bike challenge this weekend to raise money for charity.

The Dairi-Pak Mountain bike challenge is a local 22-mile off road biking event held to raise money from the Air Ambulance, the event which is in its 15th year hopes to beat the £5,500 achieved last year.

John is a keen mountain biker and told “I’ve already cycled some of the Scottish Munros as well as the local Shropshire Mountain The Wriken and I regularly cycle routes around nearby North Wales.”

The Severn in Shrewbury and Oswestry has already been promoting the event by encouraging others to take part and have regularly reported on John's progress leading up to the event.
