The Bee covers Darwen Live

Blackburn's local radio station 107 The Bee is broadcasting live from a local music event this bank holiday weekend, providing nine hours a day of backstage reporting and live music.

With headline acts such as Peter Tork and The Monkees, The Bluetones and China Crisis, station manager Simon Brierley made sure the station pulled out all the stops to provide full coverage of the annual event in Darwen town centre.
"The whole team has committed themselves to providing live reports from various venues throughout the town, and we are offering those people who can't attend the event, the chance to hear it all on the radio.
"Thanks to modern technology, we are also transmitting live music from the various stages."
Darwen Live is in it's 9th year and The Bee has been involved in most of the previous events, starting with its first RSL in the area in 2001. Listen online at [link=http://www.thebee.co.uk]thebee.co.uk[/link] between midday and 9pm Sunday 24th and Monday 25th May.
