Century Radio take on the world

Century Radio's Ditchy and Salty are to spend a week on the road, broadcasting two shows a day from across the north west.

Ditchy and Salty’s World Tour of the North-West will be taking to the air for one week only, with the duo hosting two shows a day from next Monday, between 6-9am and 4-7pm.

The team will be touring the towns and cities of the region in a luxury six-berth motorhome, taking the show to beaches, theme parks and listeners’ homes.

The tour finale will be a live afternoon show from the Rovers Return on the Coronation Street set on Friday August 15th.

Ditchy, who has invited his grandma along for the trip, said: “The World Tour is going to be loads of fun. Hopefully we can live together in perfect harmony for the week.”

Salty added: “Being in a confined space with Ditchy for a week is going to be quite a challenge but as long as we’ve got a telly and access to the footy, I’ll be happy.”
