A long list of famous names has been prepared to cover Danny Baker's upcoming break from BBC London 94.9.
Amy Winehouse's dad Mitch, Katie Melua, Sharleen Spitteri and Lucinda from the Apprentice are just a few who have agreed to present the show from August 18th to September 12th, along with co-host Gary Crowley.
BBC London's assistant editor, Justin Kings said the idea came from Danny's producer:
"If you've ever called Danny's show, you'll have spoken to Jim and he came up with this idea. It takes something special to fill the gap left by Danny in the summer and this is it! Lucinda from the Apprentice will start the season. She dropped into Danny's show recently and went down so well, we were pleased to invite her back. Sir Alan's loss is our gain! And, Mitch Winehouse is a listener to and friend of the station. We're delighted he's agreed to a show the other side of the microphone for a change!"
