The XFM network is spearheading a new art and music festival, to be held in Manchester next month.
The GCap stations will partner Becks for Becks Fusions, a three day event that celebrates the Fusion of art and music, which will showcase leading musicians and contemporary artists.
The event will take place in Manchester’s Castlefield Arena from the 4th to 6th September 2008 in collaboration with The Contemporary Arts Society.
Massive Attack will headline the event, which will include DJ’s, interactive art installations, a programme of short films and exclusive live art and music collaborations.
Listeners will be able to tune into Xfm for a live networked broadcast from the event, hosted by Clint Boon.
