Deja vu at the new Jazz FM

The programme schedule for the all new 2008-style Jazz FM has been released.

Programme controller Mike Vitti has gone back in time to re-create a schedule not to dis-similar to Jazz FM of old, including Peter Young, Mike Chadwick, Sarah Ward and Steve Quirk.

The breakfast show will be hosted by David Prever, with Anthony Davis (LBC) and Steve Quirk (one-time PC of Jazz FM NW) continuing through the day. Gary King (Revolution, Totally 80s) will host drivetime with Sarah Ward (Jazz FM, Capital) back on Dinner Jazz from 7pm and Claire Anderson on the Late Lounge.

At the weekend, Mike Chadwick is back with three shows, whilst Robbie Vincent, Peter Young and Mark Doyle all host programmes.

Jazz FM is re-launching on October 6 by The Local Radio Company, under licence from GMG Radio on DAB multiplexes in London, the West Midlands, the north-west, Glasgow and south Wales.
