More basketball for Rock Radio

96.3 Rock Radio has signed a new deal with The Scottish Rocks, as they enter a second season as official radio partner of Scotland’s only professional basketball team.

The Rocks will be competing in their new home, The Kelvin Hall, featuring the [link=http://www.scottishrockettes.co.uk/]Rockettes[/link] dancers and gorilla Rockin’ Sammy G.
Rock Radio will support the partnership with on-air activity, news, online coverage and full match day commentary with Father Ted and David “The Captain” Grant throughout the season.
Billy Anderson, regional director for GMG Radio said, “We had a great season with The Scottish Rocks last year and are delighted to be partnering them again for the 2008/2009 season. The Rock team will be supporting the Rocks in every way we can and look forward to another great year.”
Sarah Bell, senior commercial manager for the Scottish Rocks said, "We’re thrilled to be partnering with Rock Radio again this season. The Rock Jocks have added that Rockin element to our game day entertainment which has been a real hit with our fans. We’re looking forward to growing the partnership even more this season.”
