Galaxy spreads to Fareham

Galaxy has arrived on the south coast of England much to the displeasure of the more vocal members of Power FM's facebook group. Galaxy replaced 20-year old Power FM on 103.2 MHz on Friday night.

The changeover featured a short montage of old Power FM jingles and air checks, then songs by Alex Party and Pink played to welcome the new brand.

Bring back power!!!!!!" and "Why on earth do I want to know whats happening in the clubbing scene in Newcastle?".
Some listeners have already picked up on the extra networking, saying: "I couldn't careless wot the station is called, wot I want to here is prgramming coming from our studio's in Fareham."
Comments aren't as bad on the new [link=http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=25790666283]Galaxy South Coast Facebook page[/link], but it still attracts comments such as "Erm, so far don't like tonight's broadcasting…. why do I want to know about night clubs in Newcastle wen I'm in Southampton….. This is suppose to be local radio…..!!!!!!!!!!!"
