New technology at SBES 2008

The annual Sound Broadcasting Equipment Show is currently taking place at the NEC in Birmingham, and this year once again it plays hosts to a number of new product launches.

On the first day, Westcountry Broadcast announced that they have signed a distribution agreement with EBH Software of Germany. This will see Westcountry distribute the EBH music scheduling software Repertoire and news package FastNews.
A new version of Repertoire was released on 1st November and this was unveiled to the UK industry for the first time at the show.
Also showing off a shiny new toy are the team at Broadcast Bionics on stand 32. They are the UK agent for Google Radio Automation, and have an example of the new widget controlled software on display.
Meanwhile, on stand No. 1, Clyde will be exhibiting several new products, including a new modular studio system and their new TBU [i]the BB3[/i] and their latest budget mixer.
