BBC Radio Merseyside and Century Radio are supporting this year's Liverpool Santa Dash, which will gather together 8000 Santas to break a world record on Sunday 7th December.
Event organiser Alan Rothwell says, “It’s grown in popularity since 2004 when just 2000 Santas came from across Merseyside, now we’re heading for 8000 with people coming from as far a field as Oslo to take part and try to break the record for the Largest Santa Gathering."
The Liverpool Santa Dash will this year be supporting the BBC Radio Merseyside Charitable Trust and CLIC Sargent (Century Radio's nominated charity) and everyone taking part will be encouraged to raise at least £20 for the official event charities.
