Former BBC London and Capital Radio Executive Justin Kings is launching his own media consultancy, offering support and training to news and talk radio in the UK and around the world.
At Capital, Justin was News Editor and then Group News Editor, where he won various Sony Awards.
For the last two years, he has been running news and programmes in the tri-media newsroom at BBC London 94.9, which he told RadioToday.co.uk he was sad to leave: “It’s a unique radio station but I’ve wanted to run my own business for a while. I’m working on a couple of interesting foreign projects to start and there’s even the chance of some independent producing around the Oscars, which I’m very excited about.”
His new business will be known as "newsleader media consultancy".
