Global Radio's Red Dragon FM has re-united former Galaxy 101 breakfast presenters Kam Kelly and Sally Bailey to host the station's new flagship weekday breakfast show between 6am and 10am.
Kam and Sally have had a long history together, previously on Galaxy 101 (now Kiss 101) for five years, and then moving on to present a network evening show across England and Wales. The pair have also had solo programmes with Kam having presented on Red Dragon’s sister station 95.8 Capital FM in London and, since the pair last worked together, Sally has presented several national network programmes.
Speaking about the announcement, Kam said “Red Dragon is one of the biggest stations in the country. It’s a real honour to take over a show like this and great to be working with Sally again”.
Sally added “sometimes opportunities come along that you just can’t pass by. Presenting the breakfast show on Red Dragon and working with Kam are going to make a very exciting 2009”
No date has been announced for the launch of “Red Dragon breakfast with Kam and Sally” but it’s expected to be within the first few months of 2009, as Kam is currently still on-air at Hallam FM.
