A new online radio station for Staffordshire and Cheshire has launched today called Take Over The Radio.
Founder Steve Ball says: "The aim behind this music station is simple, to give listeners a chance to hear the best selection of music from today’s charts and also the best music from past years.
"We also want to give local businesses an affordable medium of advertising, as our research shows companies want to advertise but envisage the costs may be too high in this current economic climate. This new station aims to grow over time by having a big positive local presence and possibly at some point even broadcasting on the local digital DAB radio multiplex."
