Newslink, one of radio’s biggest advertising properties is expanding to allow advertisers the chance to reach even more listeners. The advertising proposition, which occupies the slot just after the news, currently incorporates 253 commercial radio stations in the UK.
Now a further 44 commercial stations will be incorporated in the newslink offer. The increase will see the advertising slot run across a total of 297 commercial stations including Classic FM, UTV, UKRD, Absolute Radio, Heart 106.2, the Galaxy network and LBC 97.3.
The enlarged newslink offer coincides with the supply of news to commercial radio stations throughout the UK moving from ITN to Sky.
