Oldham-based radio station 96.2fm The Revolution has appointed Daniel Vincent to the new position of Sales Manager.
He joins from Imagine FM in Stockport where he held the position of Sales Director, and takes up his new position on April 27th.
Revolution Station Manager, John Evington, is delighted at the appointment: “We have an incredibly strong listener proposition and, as a local station serving a clearly defined part of the region, there’s a huge revenue opportunity. That’s why we’ve created this new senior role to oversee the development of all revenue streams going forward”.
Commenting on his appointment Daniel Vincent said: “I was sad to leave Imagine after almost six years but this was too good an opportunity to miss. The ‘Penk’ brand has enormous potential and there’s a real ‘buzz’ about The Revolution just now. I can’t wait to become part of the team”.
Station owner and Breakfast Presenter, Steve Penk, is also pleased by the move; “I am thrilled that Daniel has agreed to join us at this exciting time. He has an unrivalled track record in radio sales management and I am confident that he will lead our commercial team to even greater success”.
