Summer Ball rocks the Capital

Capital FM hosted its biggest outdoor event in over five years yesterday, with 18 artists performing to over 55,000 fans at London’s Emirates Stadium.

Katy Perry kicked off the show, followed by Leona Lewis, Lionel Richie, Kelly Clarkson, Akon, James Morrison, The Saturdays, Calvin Harris, Shontelle, Alesha Dixon, JLS, Enrique Iglesias, Ciara, The Noisettes, Dizee Rascal and Daniel Merriweather with Mark Ronson and Blue.

The sell-out concert was hosted by the 95.8 Capital FM breakfast duo, Johnny and Lisa who were also joined by fellow hosts Rich and Kat and Greg Burns.

Johnny Vaughan said “Wow, I loved every minute. I think all of that dancing has worn me out for my breakfast show this morning!”

The Summertime Ball also supported Capital’s flagship charity Help a London Child with a donation of £100,000.
