Former Metro Radio commentator Justin Lockwood has joined Real Radio to cover Newcastle United games this season.
Justin will be re-united on-air with Newcastle Legend Bob Moncur, and replaces Pete Graves who has left to work at Sky Sports News.
He has numerous years of experience commentating on Newcastle under his belt, and is excited about his new position: "It’s fair to say that I’ve fallen in love with Newcastle United – it’s hard not to, when you’ve worked so closely to the club, for such a long time. The fan’s passion is seriously infectious."
Jon Kirby, Acting Programme Controller for Real Radio said, “In the past year Real Radio’s commentary of every Newcastle (and Sunderland) game has gone from strength to strength as more and more listeners look to us for the most passionate match day commentary around. The addition of Justin to the team will take us to the next level."
