Listener becomes a Voice-Over

A Minster FM listener became the voice of the station last week, if only for a short period of time, as the station helped make a dream come true.

It was always Rosemary Cartmell's dream to be a voice over artist and the breakfast show team at the TLRC station made it happen for her.

Chris, Gemma and Nikki gave Rosemary breathing lessons, voice coaching and then gave her a sheet of lines to read, which were then produced into a bunch of imaging and played during the breakfast show.

Chris said: "Rosemary, who is an avid listener was over the moon to have finally reached the goal, as Jimmy Saville had not even replied to her letters many moons ago!!"

It was all part of an "expect the unexpected feature" on the breakfast show.
