BBC Radio 1 starts to play games

BBC Radio 1 is launching a week of gaming-themed content, kicking off with Chris Moyles and the breakfast show team launching an online game.

Fastest Time Wins will be on the Radio 1 website from Monday morning, letting listeners race presenters around a series of tracks.

Other presenters getting in on the act includes Fearne Cotton who starts her own Guitar Hero super group, Scott Mills who'll be playing against the elderly and Edith Bowman who will challenge her mum on Rockband.

Radio 1Xtra and Asian Network will also air features on gaming.

Ray Paul, Executive Producer, Radio 1, says: "Gaming is an integral part of our listeners' lives and it's great to shine the light across Radio 1, 1Xtra, Asian Network and Switch at the vast range of all things gaming."
