BBC Radio Ulster scoops awards

BBC Radio Ulster has walked away from the Phonographic Performance Ireland Awards with two wins.
The station won in the New Irish Music category for the second year running, and in the Irish Language category, the Blas team was named as overall winner.

Head of Radio Ulster, Susan Lovell, said: "We are absolutely delighted with the awards BBC Radio Ulster has won and congratulate the ATL and Blas teams on their success. These awards are a testament to the thought, commitment and dedication which go into making our programmes."
The PPI Awards took place on Friday night (2nd October) at Lyrath House Hotel in Kilkenny.
