Swindon's local station Brunel FM has adopted locally-based 'Help for Heroes' as its main station charity.
And with the Defence Adademy at Shrivenham close to the station's studios, it's a cause close to local people's hearts.
Rachael Booth at Brunel FM says: "Help for Heroes is a nationally recognised charity that raises money to support members of the armed forces, who have been wounded in the service of their country. The armed forces are Wiltshire's largest employer and someone we want to work closely with.
"A number of joint fundraising events are in the pipeline including a single day's broadcast to help raise funds for the charity. We are also linking the charity with the Brunel FM website which can be found online."
