95.8 Capital FM has added a second night to its annual music event, the Jingle Bell Ball, after the first night sold out within an hour.
The second night, taking place the next day, will feature an entirely new and separate line up.
Breakfast presenters Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowdon officially announced the second date on-air on Monday morning, and will let listeners next week what acts are appearing.
The Ball is supporting Capital’s flagship charity, Help a London Child, with a donation being made from the proceeds of the event. It is sponsored by Windows 7.
Johnny Vaughan said; ‘Last week’s reaction from our listeners was unbelievable! All week the phone lines were jammed and we have been inundated with texts from people desperate to get their hands on tickets! We’re chuffed to be able to announce a second date and hopefully this will put an end to the personal requests me and Lisa have been getting! Everyone from the bin man to the boys at football and the Mums on the school run should be happy now!”
