High Peak Radio DJ found dead

High Peak Radio presenter and engineer, Paul Taylor, latterly known as Paula Hewitt, has been found dead in the studios of Ashbourne Radio.
The broadcaster, who was also behind Nottingham's Progress FM, had presented the Saturday night show on High Peak Radio since its launch in 2004, progressing to the station after stints on hospital radio and Globe FM.

When Globe FM folded, Paula ran a number of RSLs including Pulse, Max, E-zee and Lazer FM, before becoming involved at Derbyshire’s High Peak Radio.
Known affectionately as ‘Gadget’, Paula was an electronics engineer, whose skills at designing, building and maintaining broadcast radio equipment soon came to be in great demand, leading to a long and productive career in pirate radio.
On the morning of Saturday 10th October, three days before her 45th birthday, Paula was found dead on the studio floor at High Peak's sister station, Ashbourne Radio.
The cause of death is as yet unknown, but police are not treating it as suspicious.
