Alarm bells at Absolute Radio

Absolute Radio has launched an iPhone app which allows streaming of any of their stations, and also doubles up as an alarm clock.

Listeners can choose from Absolute Radio DJs Christian O’Connell, Frank Skinner or Dave Gorman to personally wake them up with custom greetings.

And once the presenter has said his line, it will tune to one of the Absolute Radio network of stations – Absolute Radio, Absolute Classic Rock or Absolute 80s.

The three apps were built by All in Media, who have also just created two iPhone apps for RTE Radio 1 and Radio 2 – also now available in the Apple Store.
