Rock drummer and broadcaster Stuart Cable is returning to BBC Radio Wales in April for a weekend show, Saturday Night Cable.
Based on rock music, the weekly show will air each Saturday evening from 6:30 till 8pm and include classic tracks and new music.
Saturday Night Cable will include live sessions from up and coming bands from across Wales too, giving new Welsh talent a platform to be heard.
“I am thrilled to be returning to BBC Radio Wales to present my own show,” said Stuart, “It will be great to be part of the team again and share my love of music with the listeners.”
Acting Editor, Steve Austins says “Stuart is an iconic figure in the Welsh music industry and we are delighted to bring him back to the station. We’re hoping that Stuart will provide new Welsh rock bands with a platform for future success, and it gives us another avenue to play contemporary Welsh music on BBC Radio Wales”.
