Capital FM's Ball rocks London

Wembley stadium was covered in Capital FM branding this weekend as the station held The Summertime Ball on Sunday.

The annual event attracted 70,000 people who turned up to watch chart acts Cheryl Cole, Rihanna and Justin Bieber.

The show, which has been promoted heavily on Capital, Galaxy and the Hit Music Network, kicked off with Usher's rendition of his track Caught Up. Florence Welch joined Dizzee Rascal for a surprise performance of their duet ‘You Got The Dirtee Love’, and Sean Kingston and Esmee also turned up un-announced.

Johnny Vaughan and Lisa Snowden hosted the gig, along with evening show presenters Rich and Kat. Some of the proceeds will go towards Capital FM's charity Help A London Child.
