Coverage of Heart re-locations

It's the perfect story for a local newspaper – especially one which enjoying a less than amicable working relationship with cross-town media.

And it hasn't taken long for some newspapers to pick up the story about how their local radio station is "closing" and "cutting jobs"

In Plymouth, the [link=http://www.thisisplymouth.co.uk/news/Radio-station-set-close/article-2331330-detail/article.html?#StartComments]Herald[/link] newspaper reports on the exit of former the Plymouth Sound station to a new location 40 miles away, saying Heart Plymouth is to become part of a new county-wide station broadcast from Exeter.

The North Devon [link=http://www.northdevongazette.co.uk/northdevongazette/news/story.aspx?brand=NDGOnline&category=news&tBrand=devon24&tCategory=newsndga&itemid=DEED22+Jun+2010+07:37:29:737]Gazette[/link] reports Heart North Devon (Lantern FM) will produce its final shows on August 27th. "Breakfast presenters Paul Hopper and James Chapple, and drive-time's Suse Rolfe are expected to find out whether their shows will be retained across the newly-expanded networks over the coming weeks."
