Mercia's breakfast presenter JD has been given the surprise task of blagging a dream wedding for two of his listeners in the station's latest promotion – Married by Monday.
Promotion winners Mike Jack and Emma Rose met JD on Monday 20th and expect to be married by Monday 27th September.
The task was set to JD by co-host Roisin after he caused upset at her wedding a few weeks ago. Mercia want Mike and Emma to have the dream wedding but if JD gets it wrong they could be getting married in their jeans. To ensure JD doesn’t get out of the challenge Roisin has secured a venue with Coombe Abbey Hotel, ordered invites and booked the registrar. The rest is over to him.
