Craig Beck has been appointed North West Programme Controller of UTV Radio, replacing Brian Paige who is heading home back to Scotland.
Beck was most recently Programme Controller and breakfast presenter at Real Radio in the North East
Craig was previously breakfast show presenter and programme controller at Wish FM from 2001-2003. He joins UTV as Senior Programmer for Tower FM, Wish FM and Wire FM, all based at Orrell Lodge in Wigan.
He says: “I am looking forward to returning to the North West and leading the programming on three successful radio stations that still have much more potential to unlock. I really can’t wait to get started!”
Tony Wilkinson, Station Director for the three radio stations in the North West, says: “Craig is a very talented and experienced programmer who will bring a lot to these radio stations, both on-air and on-line. We are delighted to welcome him to the team.”
