Capital deal for Chris Moyles?

The latest Chris Moyles rumour puts the Radio 1 Breakfast Show presenter back in commercial radio ready for the launch of Capital FM across the UK.

The Daily Mail reports Chris has been approached by Ashley Tabor and has had unofficial talks about being part of the schedule from January.

Such a move would give Capital FM the headlines it needs when it takes over Galaxy, Red Dragon, RAM and Trent FM next year and launches as a serious competitor to BBC Radio 1.

Chris Moyles [link=http://radiotonight.co.uk/post/1254536882/i-wont-be-working-from-the-new-bbc-radio-1]has been hinting[/link] on his programme in recent days that he won't be at the station after Christmas, and recently had a moan about being paid late.

Global Radio told the [link=http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1319978/Radio-One-DJ-Chris-Moyles-approached-to-Capital-FM.html]Mail[/link] the company was not in talks with Moyles ‘at the moment’, but added: "We would fully understand the attraction of joining capital FM as it goes national in early January."
