Goodman to join BBC Radio 2

BBC Radio 2 continues its trend of hiring television hosts to present radio programmes with the appointment of Strictly Comes Dancing's head judge Len Goodman.

Len will host his own three-part series dedicated to his favourite dance music.

He says: "I'm thrilled to be hosting my own radio show on a subject I feel so passionate about. I know my toes will be tapping in the studio when I play some of these dance greats and hope that listeners will also get their dancing shoes on in their living rooms when they hear the show!"

Lewis Carnie, Head of Programming Radio 2 and 6 Music, says: "Len is fast becoming a national treasure and I know that Radio 2 listeners will love this fascinating and entertaining series."

Len Goodman's Dancing Years is an Alfi Media production for BBC Radio 2.
