Rick Vaughn – who does mid-mornings on Bauer's Radio City in Liverpool – will be starring as the host of a dinner party on Channel 4 this week.
He took part in a week of filming for Come Dine With Me, featuring three other contestants from Merseyside and the Wirral.
Rick takes on Kate, laid-back life coach Peter and super wealthy Cathy in a special episode featuring glitter-garnished food, a seafood starter even the host's cat won't eat, and a guest appearance from a star off Brookside.
We hear Rick’s more familiar to dining in some of Liverpool’s finest restaurants rather than slaving away at his stove in the world famous 'Pink Palace', but we're told he rolled out the red carpet to treat his guests to a celebrity filled night full of entertainment and surprises.
Rick says: "I think I managed to pull off a dinner party which ticked all the boxes and one that my guests will remember for a very long time! I love watching Come Dine With Me and I'm delighted to be taking part."
