Teams from St Albans community station Radio Verulam and GMG Radio were the winners at this year's Radio Academy Christmas Quizzes.
Radio Verulam won at the London event on Tuesday night, with GMG taking the glory in Manchester on Wednesday evening.
The southern event was hosted by Paul Coia, with Simon Nicks (aka Nicksy) assuming the Quizmaster role in the North West.
We hope you enjoyed some of the more quirky questions and rounds on the quizzes, which were written by the team from Radio Today with a little help from the Radio Academy. There was hopefully something for everyone and some really great scores by loads of teams across both events – so, well done to all who took part!
Also at the events, the Nations and Regions Awards for the two regions were presented. These are open to stations with a TSA of under 300,000 and the winners go forward to May's Sony Radio Academy Awards in the category for small station of the year. In London the winner was Resonance FM, while in the North West the prize went to KCC Live.
