Kerrang medieval wedding prize

Birmingham-based Kerrang! Radio is the latest station to announce details of a wedding-themed competition, teaming up with beer makers Hobgoblin.

The station is offering couples the chance to win a £20,000 medieval-themed wedding, presided over by the Hobgoblin himself and taking place close to the Wychwood Brewery.

Three shortlisted couples will go head-to-head in a public vote to coincide with the royal marriage ceremony in April.

Hobgoblin claims to be the "Unofficial Beer of Weddings" because it was originally brewed to celebrate the wedding of a local landlord's daughter.

The winning couple will be announced live on Kerrang! Radio on March 27th. The station will broadcast audio podcasts of the day and an hour-long review programme after the event on April 29th – the same day Prince William and Kate Middleton tie the knot.
