4 and 5 Live simulcast election

BBC Radio 5 Live is providing continuous coverage of the national and local elections and on the Alternative Vote referendum from 10:30pm.

Special programmes will continue in an all-night election special, which will be simulcast on 5 Live and Radio 4 and hosted by Aasmah Mir in London and James Naughtie in Glasgow.

Then tomorrow morning, 5 Live will continue with Nicky Campbell presenting from London and Rachel Burden in Edinburgh.

From 12noon, as results resume, Shelagh Fogarty will present live from Westminster. Then in a change to the usual Friday schedule Richard Bacon will present Vote 2011 from 2-4pm with further analysis of the results so far.

From 4pm Peter Allen will be live at College Green in Westminster for 5 Live Drive anticipating the result of the AV referendum.
