Christmas party planned for voice-overs

A Christmas party has been organised for self-employed voice-overs and producers in London on Saturday November 17th.

Aimed at gathering the VO industry together at a time when stations, groups and companies have their own festive parties but the self-employed home workers don’t.

Posy Brewer, a female British Voiceover Artist, founded VOXMAS and organises this event with help from a fellow VO colleague Della Phillips.

“Every years us VO’s work in our booths talking to ourselves and record Christmas party ads for others, yet we never have our own Christmas do, so…VOXMAS was created. We are a friendly, fun bunch of people who work hard and need to get out of the studio once in a while and so here is one opportunity!”

“We re-launched it this year and wanted to invite all our fellow producers and people working in the audio sector to get together face to face and have a good old time.”

The event, at The Holiday Inn in Kingston-upon-Thames, will feature exhibitors showcasing various products and services related to the VO industry, networking time, a VO Surprise and an evening dinner.
